WW2 Military Signal Lantern c.1944
A good military issue signal lantern, made by G. Eastgate & Son and dated "1944". The lantern shows little or no sign of use and although the inner lamp has surface oxidisation and rust, the original black enamel surfaces appear to be in unmarked condition. An item of WW2 "Trench Art" depicting a field artillery gun. Made of brass, the item is nicely constructed, incorporating a 20mm anti aircraft shell casing for the barrel, which is embellished with a Royal Artillery button and the carriage has turning wheels.

1908 Boy Scout Whistle
An excellent and early Boy Scout whistle made by Hudsons, c.1908 and bearing their patent mark for that year. The mark relates to the cast solid brass top and swinging lanyard ring, which the company soon replaced with a simpler pressed and dished top.
