This is a set of drawing instruments issued for training purposes. It is an identical set to those carried for field use, except they the training sets are in wooden boxes and not a webbing case. The case is clearly struck with a broad arrow.

A good example of a Swiss-made WW1 "Trench" wristwatch, has a perfect enamel dial with the popular, red "12". Originally these would have been luminous numerals as fitting for a military timepiece, but this has long gone. On the inside of the case, there are silver hallmarks, including a "G.S." referring to the British importer, George Stockwell.

This pre-WW2 kukri-inspired pocket sheath knife was purchased in the Colonies, before going on to accompany its original owner, a British Civil Servant, through the war in India and believed also in the African campaign. It is well made featuring extensive wood carving, having been sharpened in service. A nice item.

There is, however, a small part of the rammer missing as shown in front of the cylinder.
