WW1 1914 Dated .303 Pencil

An original 1914 dated .303 cartridge pencil with silver bullet top. This novelty pencil possibly predates the pencil found commonly given in the Pricesss Mary Christmas gift tin. It does not bear the Crowned "M" motif.

The brass cartridge is in excellent condition but the bullet top had some small dents and perforations, however, the components themselves are a perfect fit with the bullet holding snuggly without over seating. Please note, the pencil is not present.
