WW2 Mk V Sniper Tripod & Bag

A scarce 1941 dated tripod stand marked to the makers, Puddefoot, Bowers & Simonett Ltd. of London. As importers of exotic merchandise, P.B.&S. have adde their Elephant trademark among the other military and broad arrow marks.

The Mk V Instructor's Stand is suited for use with a sniper's Scout Regiment Telescope (Tel. Sct. Regt. Mk. IIs). Over all, the stand is in good order with no damage to the wood and decent brass, which in this instance, is correct to find unpainted. The webbing bag is dated 1945 and appears to be in good order but there is some damage to the strap.
