Boer War - Army Officer's Kit Bag & Lock

A military officer's bronze kit bag D-ring lock, complete with what is probably the original padlock and key. Related to the Boer War tent hooks, this item belonged to the same individual.

The D-ring is of solid, heavy duty construction, being larger and more substantial than the standard issue brass ones. Clearly marked by the retailer, Harrods Limited.
