WW2 Smiths 8-Day Clock, c.1945

A scarce and original WW2 Smiths military wall clock, dated 1945. Presented in excellent condition, the clock is running well and keeping time, however, there is no recent service history. In view of this, this clock will undergo a full service prior to despatch.

Interestingly, this 1945 dated clock bears details that allow its provenance to be researched: A painted reference code, "ECO/1/8/50" together with a metal plate engraved "ASH58", denote that the clock served at the REME workshops in Ashford, Middlesex, part of the Eastern Command.
