Other Ranks Pocket Watch

A post WW1 era "Railway Timekeeper" pocket watch made by Plangg & Pfluger in Austria. These so called, "Dollar" watches were variously used by persons of more modest means, as they were reliable timekeepers that would keep on going in environments that were perhaps more destructive to finer precision timepieces.
As such, many were carried by soldiers and even the South African Railway purchased them for their staff.

This example is in working order and while there is no intention to give the watch a full service, all accessible pivot points will be cleaned and lubricated, prior to sale.
