WW1 Military Navigation / Draughtsman Set

A rare WW1 military tool roll with period navigation or draughtsman's drawing instruments. All tools appear to be in good order with some age patina and ink stains on the canvas roll.

Tools are of early pattern and are supplied by various makers, they include; regular and proportional dividers (used for speed, distance and time calculus), articulated compass, pens, A11 map scales dated 1917 and bearing faint broad arrow mark, plus a ruler.
