WW2 Military Deutsches Heer Style Longines Watch, c.1945

From the outset, let me state that this is not a Deutsches Heer issue Longines, however, it is a genuine Longines watch made around WW2, which certainly makes a good doppelganger for the coveted German Army version.

Presented in very good to excellent original condition, this Longines has many of the features found on WW2 timepieces: The waterproof steel case is numbered to the back, as well as to the lug with matching digits; it houses a shock-protected 12.68 movement and the black dial is (or once was) luminous. This gilt finished movement is in clean condition, looking bright and being generally untouched by clumsy hands. It is running very well and keeping time, although no guarantee is implied.

Overall, a pleasing military-styled Longines that is a fraction of the price of a DH marked counterpart.
