"Dawn Patrol" A Sir Douglas Bader Signed Print By Roderick Lovesey

This is a limited edition print of the "Dawn Patrol," depicting twoBristol Bulldog biplanes in flight. Limited to 250 prints, this work has been signed in pencil by the renowned artist, Roderick Lovesey, as well as by Sir Douglas Bader. In 1931 Bader was nearly killed when the Bulldog aircraft he was flying, crashed, costing him the loss of his legs. Nevertheless, Bader went on to become one of the RAF's Air Aces, credited with twenty aerial victories, four additional shared victories, six probables, one shared probable and eleven enemy aircraft damaged.

The picture is an original Lovesey print, numbered 95 and printed on quality paper. It was professionally glazed and double mounted nearly 30 years ago, on RAF blue card and quality wood frame. The art studio's details can still be found on the back of the picture.

Due to the delicate nature of the item, the glass will be carefully removed from the frame and the picture sent un-glazed.
